I've had the jacket fitted into a protective cover for long as I've owned it. Paint the Wind by Hannum, Alberta and a great selection of related books, art and collectibles available now at. It's quite clean and has only minimal edge wear (a couple of small tears off the rear top edge). Other than that, the dust jacket is in very good condition. The pages in the book are exceptionally clean, including the inside covers and end papers. The book is solidly bound, no cracks or spaces anywhere. Overall, the wear on the covers is fairly minimal, slight rubbing with a little rub-through at the corners and a little creasing and fraying at the spine ends. They are very clean (there are a few speck-sized bright spots on the rear), and both the beautiful illustration of the horse on the front, and the gilt lettering on the spine, are very bright and unworn.
